Summitt Labs is recalling a batch of Kore Organic Watermelon CBD Oil Tincture that is believed to have relatively high levels of lead. The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services reportedly conducted random tests on samples from the batch and found that they contained lead levels at 4.7 ppm.
It is claimed that Kore Organic Watermelon CBD Oil Tincture has benefits which include anxiety relief, mood enhancer, pain reliever, restful sleep, and stress alleviation. The affected batch, where the sample was tested, has a risk of causing high lead exposure, according to the Florida Department of Health. Symptoms of acute lead poisoning include, muscle weakness, abdominal pain, paresthesia, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, metallic taste in the mouth, shock, hemolysis, poor appetite, weight loss, symptoms associated with encephalitis, and kidney damage.
The company is recalling the affected lots, which include Batch#730 Lot#K018. One can identify the product by the Kore Organic logo and Kraft paper packaging on the 30 ml bottle. Any consumer with the affected product can return it and they will get a full monetary refund.
